Purchasing and inventory
Material ready before the order is released
Purchasing in Industric starts from each project's bill of materials. Before scheduling a machine, you know what material is in the warehouse, what is on its way and what is missing.

01The problem
When purchasing cannot see what production needs
Rush orders, shortages and duplicate material appear when purchasing and the shop floor work from different information.
The machine waits for material
The order is released and the steel has not arrived yet.
Follow-up by email
Quotes and purchase orders scattered across emails and phone calls.
Inventory that does not add up
The same material is used for two orders, or something already in stock is bought again.
02Demo
From the bill of materials to receiving

03How Industric solves it
Every feature, tied to a result
Full purchasing cycle
Requisition, request for quote, purchase order and warehouse receiving, all tied to the project.
Readiness Score
The percentage of a project's materials that are ready. It shows whether an order can be released to the machine or something critical is missing.
Supplier history
Prices, response times and on-time delivery for each supplier.
Materials catalog
Unified materials with standardized specifications, dimensions and grades.
Warehouses and locations
Stock by warehouse, aisle and shelf, with every receipt, issue or adjustment recorded so it cannot be altered later.
Reservation by work order
Existing material is assigned to a WO so it is never used twice.

04How it works
From the bill of materials to receiving
The BoM defines which materials and consumables the project needs.
What is already in stock is reserved and a requisition is created for what is missing.
Purchasing quotes and issues the purchase order to the supplier.
The warehouse receives the material and the project's Readiness Score updates.
05FAQ
About purchasing and inventory
What is the Readiness Score?
The percentage of materials available for a project. It tells the planner whether production can be released or critical inputs are still missing.
Does it replace my accounting system?
No. Industric manages operational purchasing; accounting stays in your current system, and Industric integrates with accounting systems such as Siigo.
Can I track stock by location?
Yes. Inventory is managed by warehouse, aisle and shelf, with a movement log that cannot be modified afterwards.
