At Fundimoldes we run several projects at the same time, and information sometimes ended up scattered across files, emails and conversations. We started using Industric to bring more order and to know clearly what is pending and how each project is going.

01Before and after

More than 15 molds in parallel, tracked with Excel, whiteboards and paper

With more than fifteen orders at once, keeping several Excel files, the floor whiteboards and the papers attached to each order up to date was a job in itself.

Before Industric

  • No single source of truthThe same data was copied between files, whiteboards and paper. Each area had its own version.
  • Delivery dates forecast by handManual calculations that did not update with what happened on the floor.
  • Delays and overtime out of controlDelays were found late and covered with extended hours.

With Industric

  • A single source of truthOffice, floor and customers work from the same information.
  • Dates calculated with the critical pathEach order has a projected date that updates with the times the floor logs.
  • 45% fewer extended hoursDelays are caught earlier and no longer covered with last-minute overtime.
  • Customers informed without callingMore than 20 customers check their molds' progress on the portal.

02Implementation

Two months to the first project on the floor

Fundimoldes started in February 2025. The rollout went in stages, starting with what hurt the most: knowing when each order would ship.

  1. Planning. Each order with its schedule, dependencies and critical path, replacing hand forecasts with calculated dates.

  2. Bill of materials. Each mold's BoM, with its parts, materials and revisions.

  3. Document management. Drawings and documents linked to each part, with the latest approved version on the floor.

  4. The remaining modules. Shop floor with 11 terminals for 30 operators, quality, purchasing, customer portal and Gilby AI.

04Does your shop look like this?

If you run several orders at once with Excel and whiteboards, the starting point is the same

Start with planning, like Fundimoldes: in the demo we build the schedule for one of your orders and show you the delivery date the critical path produces.
